StataNow 19.5: New Feature Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are pleased to introduce the latest features available in StataNow 19.5.<\/p>\n

1) Psychometric Meta-Analysis (January 28, 2026 update)<\/strong>
Stata now supports psychometric meta-analysis of correlations with the new meta psycorr<\/code> command. The method corrects for measurement error and includes adjustments for direct and indirect range restriction, dichotomization, and small-sample bias. Analyses can be seamlessly extended using Stata\u2019s meta suite, including forest plots and subgroup analyses.

2) Moderating Effects in Heterogeneous DID Models (January 28, 2026 update)<\/strong>
Following a heterogeneous difference-in-differences analysis with two-way fixed effects, moderating effects of covariates can now be examined. The new postestimation command estat moderation<\/code> shows how cohort- and time-varying ATETs change with covariates, providing deeper insight into treatment effect heterogeneity.

3) Convert Word Documents to HTML, EPUB, and More (January 28, 2026 update)<\/strong>
The new docx2<\/code>suite of commands allows Word documents created with putdocx<\/code> to be converted directly into HTML, EPUB, Markdown, or plain text. This makes it easier to reuse and publish Stata output across different platforms without relying on external tools.

4) Proportional Odds Test after Ordered Logit (January 28, 2026 update)<\/strong>
After fitting an ordered logit model, users can now test the proportional odds assumption. The new postestimation command estat parallel<\/code>provides several tests, including the Brant, likelihood-ratio, score, Wald, and Wolfe\u2013Gould tests. Predictor variables may be continuous, binary, count, or categorical.
