StataNow adds more new features with a 18 December update.
Multiple-event interval-censored Cox model
Fit a marginal proportional hazards model for interval-censored multiple-event data. The new stmgintcox command can accommodate single- and multiple-record-per-event data and supports time-varying covariates for all events or specific ones.
Control-function linear and probit models
Fit control-function linear and probit models with the new cfregress and cfprobit commands. Control-function models offer a more flexible approach to traditional instrumental-variables (IV) methods by including the endogenous variable itself and its first-stage residual in the main regression; the residual term is called a control function.
Do-file Editor: Current word and selection highlighting
Stata’s Do-file Editor will highlight all case-insensitive occurrences of the current word under the cursor. It will also separately highlight all case-sensitive occurrences of the current selection. Both features allow you to easily find keyword or selection matches in your document without having to use the find dialog.
For more details, reference the attached feature highlights for a thorough description of these new features as well as for tips about how to talk about the features with your customers.
