Stata for undergraduate teaching

Teach statistics, not software. Use Stata to easily demonstrate statistical concepts while you focus on explaining them.

We offer instructors at accredited, degree-granting institutions a six-month Stata/BE license for use in their undergraduate classes. Instructors should be actively teaching Stata in current courses and should complete the form below to request a course license.

*We MUST be able to verify your course prior to sending the license. If unavailable, type N/A and email proof as an instructor of an undergraduate course teaching Stata to order@dpc-software.de.

Additional terms and conditions

The Stata undergraduate course license provided free of charge from StataCorp is appropriate for use for undergraduate student coursework or for use by faculty for teaching. It is not appropriate for graduate coursework, for faculty/staff research, for nonacademic or noninstructional use, or for commercial or government purposes, including commercial or government training programs. Other restricted use may include, but is not limited to, administrative use, consulting, commercial research, institutional research, or other noneducational use.

By requesting and using the undergraduate course license, you agree that it will be used only for undergraduate coursework as described above. You also agree that any license issued will be provided only to students enrolled in the class as specified and not to any other students, faculty, staff, or other personnel.
